ProOrtho orthopedic physician Dr. Craig McAllister recently conducted a Q & A session with Becker’s ASC Review in which he discusses value-based orthopedic care and how orthopedic practices are evolving to meet their patients’ needs. The article, written by Laura Dyrda, addresses upcoming opportunities for orthopedic surgeons, such as an increase in joint replacement surgery and cloud-based patient engagement.

“Interactive online educational platforms that hold patients accountable for education, communication, and management of their care will empower patients like never before.”

Dr. McAllister, who is also the Chief Medical Officer of The SwiftPath Program, LLC, also weighs in on robotic technology and the biggest challenges facing orthopedic doctors in the immediate future. He will be a featured presenter at the 15th Annual Spine, Orthopedic & Pain Management-Driven ASC Conference + The Future of Spine in June 2017.

ProOrtho has a commitment to provide the highest quality orthopedic care, service and research to deliver the best outcomes for its patients. Dr. McAllister is a great example of the thought leadership our doctors bring to orthopedic medicine.
