Medical Phone Receptionist

Job Description:

The role of the Medical Phone Receptionist is to act as a liaison for patient phone calls, gather and input registration information into NextGen and Epic software, and work in a team environment.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Answer patient calls and direct appropriately
  • Schedule appointments via telephone
  • Facilitate flow of patients by coordinating with medical assistants
  • Call patients, including reschedules and return phone calls
